E.K. Wise Scholarship Fund
E.K. Wise Scholarship Fund was established in the 1960s through the generous bequest of Elizabeth K. Wise to support women pursuing higher education degrees. The focus of the scholarship is to support female students who can meet E.K. Annual Benjamin Cummings Allied Health Scholarship Contest

Jewish Hospital HealthCare Services
Frazier Rehab Institute is currently recruiting educational loan applicants who are pursing a career in rehabilitation. This opportunity is open to students in the following programs: PT, PTA, OT, OTA, SLP, and RN. The educational loan offers up to $6,000 per year paid directly to the student to help further their education. For every $6,000 received, the student will work for the Frazier Rehab Institute for one year. Candidates must be accepted into the program before applying with us. Recipients are chosen by a selection committee that meets at least quarterly. We accept applications year round.

Jefferson County Medical Society Alliance
Jefferson County residents who are enrolled in an undergraduate registered nursing or other allied health program in Jefferson County may apply. Medical students are not eligible for this particular grant. Applicants must have completed at least one semester of their program by the time the applications are submitted in March. Civic Clubs
While these are often intended primarily for undergraduate training, some organizations do have funds available for specialized or graduate training. The most applicable of these are:
- Elks Club: Specifically assists training in care of disabled children
- Business and Professional Women Clubs: Loans and other types of assistance to female students. Limited funds available for B.P.W. members who are enrolled in graduate courses.
- American Association of University Women: Assistance available for AAUW members who are enrolled in graduate courses.
Talbots Women's Scholarship Fund
All applicants must be seeking an undergraduate degree from an accredited two or four-year college or university, or vocational-technical school. Only applicants seeking a bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university are eligible to receive a $10,000 award. Scholarship awards are based primarily on financial need and previous achievements for women who earned their high school diploma or GED at least 10 years ago. http://www.talbots.com/about/scholar/scholar.asp
Target
Current undergraduate college students (age 24 and under) who are legal U.S. residents are eligible to apply. Applicants must enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study no later than the fall term of the 2004-2005 school year at an accredited two-or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school in the U.S. Employees of Target Corporation and past recipients of Target All-Around Scholarships are not eligible to apply. Master Level Scholarships
American Occupational Therapy Foundation Loan Program
The E.K. Wise Loan Fund of the American Occupational Therapy Foundation has a limited number of loans available for persons in master's level courses. These are for female students who are members of AOTA. Loans up to $5,000 are repayable within 3 years after graduation. For further information contact:

Scholarships for Occupational Therapy students
AMBUCS Scholarships
These scholarships are available for students enrolled in a basic master's degree program. The criteria are stated in such a way to imply that the scholarships are available only for the entire period of schooling; however, this should not deter already enrolled students from applying. These scholarships may be awarded concurrently with repayable loans or work-study assistance. Awards are based on financial need and a GPA of 3.0 or more on a 4.0 scale. Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority Rehabilitation Scholarships
Scholarships are available to Kappa members who are studying for a degree in a rehabilitation field including Occupational Therapy. Graduate scholarships of up to $1500 are awarded on a campus with a chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma. Applicants must be US or Canadian citizens. For further information, contact:

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Graduate Scholarship Program
This scholarship program will award approximately 35 scholarships to college seniors or recent graduates to attend graduate programs in fall 2004. The scholarship awards will provide funding for tuition, room and board, books, and other required fees for the length of the graduate degree program, up to six years. The amount and duration of awards will vary by student, based on the cost of attendance and length of the program as well as other scholarships or grants received. The maximum award per student is $50,000 per year.
Candidates for this scholarship must be nominated by the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Faculty Representative at their undergraduate institution.
