**All of the slots for the February 2010 start date have been filled. We will begin taking applications for the class starting February 2011 in February 2010 and will continue to accept applications through November 1, 2010 or until all 40 slots have been filled.**
Auerbach School of Occupational Therapy Admission
Undergraduate admission requirements to enter the BS/MSOT program are:
- Admission to Spalding University
- Completion of ASOT application, including three letters of recommendation
- Successful completion of all prerequisite courses with minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Completion of 20 observation hours in a human services delivery setting
- Completion of ASOT interview
Graduate admission requirements to directly enter the MSOT program at the graduate level are:
- Admission to Spalding University Graduate School
- Successful completion of all prerequisite courses with cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better in undergraduate degree. Graduate Record Exam (GRE) or Miller Analogies Test (MAT) test results are required if student does not meet GPA criteria.
- Completion of ASOT application including three letters of recommendation
- Completion of 20 observation hours in a human services delivery setting
- Completion of ASOT interview

Admission to the University does not assure acceptance into ASOT. Based upon the student's completion of the admission requirements, the applicant will be eligible for consideration for admission to the program. Admission to ASOT is awarded on spaces available. Spaces are assigned according to the current year Occupational Therapy Admission Policy. If admitted, students must submit a tuition deposit to reserve their position in the program by November 1, prior to beginning the program in session 4.

The following courses (or equivalent) must be completed prior to officially entering the professional phase of the Occupational Therapy Program:
- BIO 251 and 252 Anatomy and Physiology
- BIO 253 and 254 Anatomy and Physiology Labs
- CHEM 106 Chemistry for the Allied Health Sciences
- MATH 113 College Algebra or higher
- MATH 231 Statistical Techniques
- ANTH 211 Cultural Anthropology OR SOC 201 Introduction to Sociology
- PSY 103 Psychological Systems
- PSY 202 Life Span Development
- PHIL 154 Ethics
- ENG 107 Intro. To College Writing
- COM 201 Effective Speaking
- PHY 204 Physics
Any course substitutions are at the discretion of the School.
