The School of Professional Psychology at Spalding University offers exciting and challenging degree programs to those interested in the complexities of the human experience. Designed to foster intellectual and/or skill-based competencies, these degree programs will explore current theory, research, and applications in the field of psychology. Faculty are committed to creating an inviting educational environment where students enjoy rich interpersonal connections and individualized mentoring and advising. Our Undergraduate Major in Psychology offers a Bachelors of Arts degree in both traditional and accelerated formats. Within this major, students are exposed to ways in which psychology explores and explains human behavior with a particular focus on how psychology is applied. The undergraduate degree prepares students for a variety of career opportunities or entrance into graduate studies. 
In addition, we offer a fully accredited Doctoral (Psy.D.) degree in Clinical Psychology. This program offers generalist training and follows the Scholar-Practitioner model. As part of the Psy.D. program, students have the opportunity to select an area of emphasis in either Adult Psychology, Child/Adolescent/Family Psychology, Health Psychology, or Forensic Psychology. Our Faculty are committed to excellence, best practices, and they actively engage in the application and science of this fascinating field. Students in the doctoral program will commence into their professional careers exceptionally prepared to affect positive change in a culturally sensitive manner with all whom they serve.
